ClimaTwin Joins the ASCE Emerging Technologies Committee

BOSTON, MA, September 27, 2021 — ClimaTwin™, Climate Risk Analysis for Infrastructure Digital Twins™, is proud to join the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Infrastructure Resilience Division (IRD), Emerging Technologies Committee. The purpose of the technical committee is to serve civil engineers by providing a forum to explore technologies and advancements in the practice that increase the resilience of built infrastructure, including building and lifeline systems, in hazard-prone areas. ASCE’s Infrastructure Resilience Division Technical Committees include the Civil Infrastructure and Lifeline Systems Committee; Disaster Response and Recovery Committee; Emerging Technologies Committee; Risk and Resilience Measurements Committee; and, Social Science, Policy Economics, Education Committee.

ClimaTwin Joins the ASCE Infrastructure Resilience Division

BOSTON, MA, September 20, 2021 — ClimaTwin™, Climate Risk Analysis for Infrastructure Digital Twins™, is proud to join the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Infrastructure Resilience Division (IRD). The Infrastructure Resilience Division creates resources for improving the resilience of civil infrastructure and lifeline systems to all hazards. Established in 2014, IRD develops a unified approach to advancing the concepts of resilience within lifeline and infrastructure systems. Committee activities focus on the following technical topics: community resilience; disaster assessments; emerging technologies; civil infrastructure and lifeline systems; multi-hazard characterization; risk and resilience measurements; and, social and economic impacts.
